General Trading shipping & logistics in Dubai

For general trading companies importing and exporting mixed commodities, consumer goods and industrial products.

Moving general trading through Dubai

General trading companies are the backbone of Dubai’s re-export trade. A single order might combine electronics, household goods, hardware and spare parts bought from a dozen suppliers, then shipped to a buyer in East Africa, South Asia or the Gulf.

That model needs a forwarder who can receive goods from many places, build one clean set of documents and keep re-export paperwork correct. We handle the consolidation, the booking and the customs side so your team can focus on buying and selling.

Common challenges

  • Goods arrive from several suppliers on different days and in different packaging
  • One container can hold dozens of HS codes, each needing an accurate description
  • Re-exports must be declared correctly so duty is not paid on goods leaving the UAE
  • Buyers’ countries often require specific certificates before release

How we handle it

How we support General Trading Companies

  • Supplier consolidation

Suppliers deliver to one Dubai warehouse. We count, record and photograph each consignment, then load a single container.

  • One combined packing list

We merge supplier paperwork into one invoice-matched packing list so the destination clearance goes smoothly.

  • Re-export declarations

Exit and re-export declarations prepared so goods leave the UAE under the correct customs status.

  • FCL or LCL, priced side by side

For each order we compare a full container against LCL so you choose on cost and timing.

General Trading shipping FAQs

Have a question about your cargo?

Ask on WhatsApp

Can you consolidate goods from several Dubai suppliers into one container?

Yes. Your suppliers deliver to a warehouse in Dubai, we record each delivery, and load everything into one FCL or LCL shipment with a combined packing list.

What is a re-export in Dubai?

A re-export is when goods imported into the UAE are shipped out again. Declaring the shipment correctly as a re-export matters because it affects how customs duty is treated. We prepare the declaration for you.

Should a trading company ship FCL or LCL?

It depends on volume and timing. Below roughly 13–15 CBM, LCL is usually cheaper; above that a 20′ FCL often wins. We price both so you can compare.
